UO Zero Waste Program efforts and services encompass all areas of operations on the University of Oregon campus.
This section presents information about those services. The University of Oregon is on the road to Zero Waste. If you have questions about an area that is not listed here, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATORS DEPARTMENT REPRESENTATIVES/LISTSERVE
The UO Zero Waste Program maintains a listserve for campus departments to share program updates and opportunities. Postings are infrequent and are valuable to keep departments updated. If you would like to participate in this listserve, contact email@example.com to inquiry further or sign-up.
FOR OFF-CAMPUS SERVICES
For off campus locations, please work with your building and the CPFM off-campus lease Manager, to ensure daily recycling collection services and collection equipment are provided in your building.
The Zero Waste Program can provide non-routine additional services to off campus locations, requests must go through CPFM Customer Service (X62319) for tracking purposes. Any service charges will go to the building and not to a department.
Zero Waste Program services include:
a. 3 tiered boxes for deskside recycling collection
b. Oddball collection of materials that are not recyclable through local hauler as noted in the Materials Handling list
c. Voluntary composting – departments or individuals request bins, and material must be centralized to outside location
d. Composting collection at designated central location, will be serviced weekly
e. Office clean-outs
